Ministering to Prisoners

In 1977 there were 19,600 in mates in California. In 1998 the number jumped to nearly 160,000--an increase of well over 1000%. This is happening all over our country--so much so that our prison systems are unable to house sentenced criminals. This week our host, Dr. Gene Getz will be talking with men who have gone behind prison bars to share the good news of Christ's death and resurrection. You'll also hear about an exciting ministry to prisoners called "A Weekend of Champions"--a unique way to open the hearts and minds of some of societies hardened criminals.
