Ministering to Prisoners

In 1977 there were 19,600 inmates in California. In 1998 the number jumped to nearly 160,000--an increase of well over 1000%. This is happening all over our country--so much so that our prison systems are unable to house sentenced criminals. This week on Renewal our host, Dr. Gene Getz will be talking with men who have entered this mission field to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. And what an incredible experience to see a man on death row weep over his sins and then weep for joy because he knows he can face eternity without fear.
